November 2021, after another challenging year of Covid restrictions and uncertainty in the film industry, the highly talented crew lead by writer/director Matt Gall, and producer and founder of CHOOSEDAY Studios, Simon Bell, commenced construction of a 16th century French home to shoot the short film, Everyone Sees Noon As His Doorstep.

Given the film was based on actual events, the team were committed to ensuring this set was as authentic as the budget would allow. This meant the design team had to be extremely creative in their approach.

Two weeks of hard work and 23 energy drinks later, stepping into the set fully staged, lit by candles, was like stepping back in time.
