On the 11th of March, Simon had the privilege of attending the 2023, Sparrowland Short Film Festival at PIP Theatre in Milton.

It was a world class line up of Australian and International short films, with Not To Be, by Katrina Channells, taking out Best Australian Film, as well as The People’s Choice.

Simon had the chance to speak on the expert panel alongside some of Brisbane’s influential filmmakers including director and ACTAA Nominated Mairi Cameron, Jacob Richardson and Stewart Tyrrell.

Letters, by Jack Aylwin  – Best Student Film

Street No.4 by Lark Lee – Best Horror
